The first ever District Energy and Water Academy drew attendants from near and far, reaching across the globe from Vancouver as far as Auckland, New Zealand. Our program took participants beyond the building-scale, with practical and proven strategies for feasibility, financing, policy, and stakeholder engagement. Over three days, we unpacked some of the biggest opportunities in neighbourhood-scale energy and water development through expert-led sessions, case studies, and tours of world-class projects.
The 2016 DE+WA Event Report has now been released. We wanted to extend our thanks to all the expert faculty who shared their knowledge as well as the participants that shared their projects and questions. We were delighted by the quality and depth of discussions at the event and are looking forward to the next DE+WA.
