cityage-oct16-event-imagePopulation growth in urban areas can lead to prosperity, but the city has to keep up with this growth to avoid being choked.  By 2041, Southern Ontario is expecting the population to grow from 9 million to 13.5 million.

On October 6th & 7th, CityAge: Build the Future will be taking a look at the business of city-building and the role of targeted investment in managing urban rapid growth.

The event, to take place in Toronto’s MaRS Discovery District, will address investment required to be a globally competitive urban centre through discussion of infrastructure, innovation, resilience, transportation and energy systems.

Trent Berry, Principal at Reshape, will be speaking to the ‘how’ of powering a low-carbon city with local resources.
